- Instant messageI am very concerned about the impact of large load data centers on our environment and our energy systems. I'm thankful Avista has paused energy requests from data center developers. This gives local governments like Spokane County the opportunity to review our current regulations and get input from community members on shaping our rules and policies. This may require a moratorium on the development of large data centers while we do our research and get community input.
