Good afternoon Jeff, I have chatted a bit with Kyle Dixon from Liberty Lake about our timeline for the reimbursement request as he had reached out with the same inquiry, and attached that correspondent. I have completed the resolution, staff report and attachments that will be presented to the BOCC for the reimbursement as well as the PP briefing. I have also reached out to our Transportation Engineer for the cost analysis to ensure the amount being requested is appropriate. I am waiting for his response to move forward, from there I will meet with Matt Zarecor to discuss when to request dates to go to hearing. I was able to move a bit faster on this request as I was not sure about requirements for completion if the BOCC did not approve the extension of the TIF and LIFT programs for the Liberty Lake Area. Looking through previous requests, most have a much longer timeline for completion due to the amount of material there is to review. I have let Kyle Dixon as well as the previous proponents know on previous reimbursement requests this is a long process and we do work to get these through as quickly as possible. Mary, Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season with family and friends. I am reaching out to request your assistance with our LIFT/TIF reimbursement request with Spokane County for a portion of our field development and construction. City of Liberty Lake approved and submitted the request November 7th to the County. I communicated with Jeff White in early December and provided him some additional materials he requested for his team’s review. In a subsequent conversation, he indicated that it may be into March/April before there review is concluded and it gets before the commissioners for their approval. If there is any way to speed up this timeline, that would be greatly appreciated. We are spending around $15,000 a month in interest on the $2.5MM. The original timeline for this to be completed was by the end of 2025 (from discussions with City of Liberty Lake regarding the timing of these reimbursements). I think the City got the information to County later than they originally thought they would. Then we had holidays and yearend.
