Session To: Good afternoon, You may have heard that at the meeting on 8/18, the Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a four-month pause on the acceptance and processing of County building permits for data centers. The moratorium is set to expire on December 15, 2026, but can be extended if more time is needed. There will be several public work sessions and hearings starting with the Planning Commission Meeting August 27th at 4:30pm in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room. Also at this week’s Planning Commission meeting, Staff will be presenting the FEIS Preferred Alternative and Urban Zoning Area with the tentative goal to have the FEIS published October 1st.
