[CAUTION - EXTERNAL EMAIL - Verify Sender] Ombudsman Delana, I am writing this on Sunday afternoon after a bit of time in the bus Plaza First, I chose not to ride the bus this morning to St Marks to avoid having to stand outside in the 18 degree weather, not wanting to risk further confrontation with security inside the Plaza I did choose to ride the bus down at 1:50 from my #27 bus stop to the Plaza, heading through the plaza to the Library. When I entered the plaza there was a 'Security officer' with a Badge and Three stripes on his arm. His Name is Mr Adams. I motioned him to talk to him and came right over. I asked him if he was a Police officer and he said No sir! I then asked him why he was wearing an Authentic looking Badge? He said it was not an official badge, and not authorized by any government agency. ie a Fake Badge I asked him about the Sargents stripes on his arm And said they were because he was the 'Supervisor ' for the shift I said great, do you have a few minutes for me to share a scenario with you? He offered to go to another space and I deferred, choosing to be out in the open and on camera. I then shared with him my event the prior Sunday. Then I asked him what 'Official Policy' is. He told 'Rule 34' and I told him I knew it, and outlined my understanding of the rule. He concurred I had it right and that people under him Folks did it as intended and not like Mr. Green had inflicted on me the Sunday prior. I asked Mr Adams if he understands the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments? He had No Response And then what to my eyes should appear, but Mark Green approaching folks I knew had been there since shortly before I came in It is All likely on camera. 2:02 PM by the convenience store I did point Mr Green out to Security member Adams was not legally allowed or even by Rule 34 allowed to continue. At that point I thanked him and left. So several serious questions here... The most important one is wondering if aforementioned 'Security Force' at the Plaza hired, administrated and trained and overseen by STA, or is it a Contract agency you all at STA do not actively control? Is Said agency aware of RCW Code 9A.60.045 With regards impersonating an officer of the law? FYI: It is a gross misdemeanor, up to 364 days in jail and a $ 5000 fine per event for pretending or presenting to be an Officer, to act officially or possessing badges/uniforms with intent to impersonate. So 'Sargent' Adams and the entire team of 'Security Force' at the Plaza seems to be at risk for someone to file a legal case I am asking you to forward this to your CEO, and your legal counsel as well . I am asking also in addition to whatever conversations are offered a full written response from you, and your CEO . Take your time.
