Good Morning Commissioners, We have received the award (see attached) from the arbitrator for the Local 492 Interest Arbitration and the County did well. All-in-all, the arbitrator found the County's case/facts/arguments very convincing and rejected almost all Union's proposals and the select few he did award, he only awarded partially and have no major impacts financially or operationally. Regarding the biggest issue everyone was waiting on, wages, the County's wage proposal was awarded in its entirety. Below is a high level summary of the award: Wages: - 2025: 6.5% - 2026: 4% - 2027: 3.0% Longevity - No changes awarded Vacation Leave - No changes awarded Sick Leave - No changes awarded Overtime - No changes awarded Uniform Allowance - Increase from $1,088.00/yr to $1,200.00/yr In the end what was awarded was very similar to what the County had proposed.
