I only received the draft this morning, so I only had time for a cursory review when I wrote a preliminary 1-minute presentation for the Commission. I will be transferring the draft to MS Word so I can complete a full review with both strikeouts and suggestions for review by yourself and your team. I will say that many folks seem confused about what is happening here, and injecting fear of AI into a code conversation. A data center is a data center is a data center. No physical difference beyond scale. The real debate is, as so often is, one of cost/benefit. Code can provide the parameters and constraints of the construction, but cost/benefit encompasses both the short and longterm affect ( and effects) of the project on the community and its future.
