Hi Brenda, I saw the announcement this week from Commissioner Brooks — congratulations to her! I'm reaching out today to see if she'd be interested in joining us for something fun as finishes up her time on the BOCC. We are prepping for our fourth season of Civics Bowl at KSPS PBS, a televised civics competition for local high school students. The program features multiple rounds of competition quizzing students on topics related to the high school study of civics, government, U.S. History, Washington state history, indigenous history and government, local public affairs, and more. We like to have prominent members of our community serve as guest question presenters, and we'd love to have Commissioner Brooks pre-record some questions for the quiz show this year. I will supply 4-6 questions in advance, in this case likely related to local/county government and/or our region's history. We pre-record the questions in advance at the KSPS PBS studio. Please let me know if the commissioner is interested and we can get her scheduled. My deadline for having the questions recorded is the end of March, as we record the competition in mid-April.
