Verify the source before opening links or attachments. ⚠ Hello Jon, It was great meeting you in Spokane and discussing the status of PFAS and the impacts there in the community. Per our discussion, I have attached some reports on a few studies completed by or in coordination with University of Arizona here in Tucson. These reports were focused on PFAS in blood, primarily from a study group of essential workers such as firefighters or nurses. One of the studies tested for PFAS in relation to possible affects to COVID-19 vaccines and included a larger sampling with children as well. I included one of the sample reports that were sent out to participants of that study that indicates the study results at the time. Also, we discussed what other research the Air Force is implementing regarding various PFAS topics. These stem from the Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) and the Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP). One of the primary branches of SERDP-ESTCP is PFAS. SERDP focuses on research while ESTCP focuses on demonstration projects moving towards commercialization of various processes.
