Beth — Spokane Transit Authority's (STA) new CEO Karl Otterstrom and Spokane County Commissioner Al French will be attending Mobility and are interested in talking about future transit-oriented development and comparing notes. STA successfully launched its City Line BRT in 2023 while Karl was Chief Planning Officer. Karl and his team are building upon the success of City Line with Division St BRT, which is currently in Project Development and anticipates an FTA grant agreement at the end of this calendar year or early 2027. Commissioner French has played a vital role in all of STA's successes over his many years on the board and is a past recipient of APTA's Outstanding Board Member Award of the Year. They are focused on pursuing TOD projects along the new BRT rou Al and Karl -- Beth Holbrook is a well-respected leader in connecting transit to growing communities. She currently serves as APTA's Legislative Committee Chair. Her experience and knowledge of TOD projects are vast and could provide valuable counsel to STA's TOD goals.
