Mike, I am a planner, not a political consultant. That said, the site is in Commissioner Amber Waldref’s district and she has advocated for a longer moratorium. If you want to influence the board, it usually starts with the commissioner of the site. Generally speaking, the BoCC assigns land use actions to the Planning Commission. The PC, as you know is holding public meetings now through mid-October before making a recommendation to the board on zoning code to regulate data centers. The board may not hold any public meetings on this, rather they will consider the public process through the PC and accept or reject that recommendation.
