Hello, The long-awaited draft of the CEO employment contract has returned following revisions with the attorney. I’m glad we had it reviewed—several sections were added to ensure compliance as a state entity while maintaining our status as a Washington 501(c)(3). The document has also been streamlined for clarity. Attached are: - The original draft (based on Mark’s agreement) - The revised draft from the attorney’s office - An AI-generated summary of the changes Before convening an Executive Committee meeting to approve the contract, it would be helpful to gather your feedback in advance. If we can align on key points ahead of time, we can limit this to a single, efficient meeting. Please review the materials and share your comments with the group. Once we reach general consensus, we can schedule a brief meeting for formal approval. I will send a Doodle poll shortly to identify availability for next week. We will need a quorum of five members. For reference, the proposed salary is $155,000 (aligned with the current statewide average for local board CEOs), along with a potential performance-based bonus tied to annually defined goals. It may be helpful to agree on an acceptable range now to avoid delays once the offer is presented. Please submit your feedback by close of business Monday. This would allow us to schedule a meeting for Tuesday or Wednesday. Thank you, we are very close to the finish line!
