The Public Works Committee (Jennifer Morton, Larry Bowman, & Davin Perry) is asked to meet on Wednesday, November 5th via zoom to discuss the following agenda items. * Requests for reclaimed water by commercial entities i. Apricus Energy ii. Central Pre-Mix/Interstate * Long term maintenance of 6th/10th Avenues i. City Code requirements verses expected level of maintenance ii. Arterials verse local roads * Cheney Public Schools Well Site Property Interest 1. A reminder that an executive session is scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025. The topic on the agenda is potential litigation. TOPICS OF INTERESTS 3. This week Court Administrator Kati Dorman raised an opportunity for the City to help facilitate awareness about local food banks and food pantries for community members impacted by the federal government shutdown and food insecurity. Kati suggested the City help identify the locations for the different resources. Police - Brad Richmond 0. Police officers responded to a weapon brandishing /intimidation domestic violence call on 19th Avenue. The suspect was brandishing a large survival knife and was taken into custody and booked into Spokane County jail. 1. Officers responded to a domestic violence call. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with assault 4th degree. 2.
