Councilmembers- Please see attached presentation that James Coleman and Sean Boyd from Apricus provided during our April 20th Public Works (PW’s) Committee meeting. I will be working on a scope and cost estimate for a study. It will include, but not limited to what we discussed: - Assess how serving outside our City limits will impact our current reclaimed water plan. - The tradeoffs of not using 250,000-300,000 gpd for population growth for the data center. Looking to assign a cost -- assessing the future costs of purchasing additional water from the City of Spokane and offsetting this cost thru receiving a portion of the data center’s revenue. - What other entities outside city limits would also want access to reclaimed water? - Hydrogen Plant usage 30,000 to 1 million gpd. Look to FAFB for their sewage treatment as well as recouping through a portion of power sales.
