FMSIB Board Members, please see the message below from Chair Lentz and Investment Committee Chair Hellman: Dear FMSIB Board Members, After several months of robust discussion and review, the Investment Committee has completed its work and is pleased to share a final draft list of project recommendations for the Six-Year Investment Program. These draft recommendations reflect a comprehensive and prioritized list of projects, including the opportunity for the Legislature to fund projects beyond the historical $30 million funding level. To include these recommendations in the Governor’s proposed budget, the Board must approve a list of recommendations at the June 12 board meeting. While time will be provided during the board workshop to review projects and committee recommendations, we ask that board members review the draft recommendations in advance and come prepared for discussion. If you are unable to attend the board workshop and meeting, please send your feedback to FMSIB staff no later than June 9. Included in this email to support your review: - A PowerPoint with high-level project details and Investment Committee recommendations and rationale for FY 27-29, 29-31, and 31-33. - A draft table of project recommendations for the Six-Year Investment Program - A comprehensive workbook containing project scopes, costs, funding requests, and validation information for all projects reviewed by the Investment Committee. - A link to the FMSIB Google Drive, where 2026 applications, supporting documents, and 2024 Identified Priority Projects can be accessed.
